Register to Vote
The first step to ensure your voice is heard on Election Day, May 2, is to register to vote. It's as simple as completing a form and submitting it to the local Registrar of Voters. The deadline to register for the May election is March 31.

Cast Your Ballot
Registered voters can vote in three different ways:
- Absentee voting is when a voter requests an absentee ballot be mailed to him or her and, in turn, mails the completed ballot to the local Registrar of Voters by the deadline.
- Early voting takes place in the weeks leading up to Election Day and voters are able to cast a ballot using the eSlate voting machines at the Registrar of Voters office .
- Voters can go to his or her precinct polling place on Election Day and cast a ballot using the eSlate machines.
